A custom-looking design may use standard modules, but the wall, ceiling and floor still determine whether the plan fits as intended.
Other household storage such as bedroom wardrobes, entryway units and shelving can be grouped into an assembly request. Describe each unit separately so the right time, tools and fixing materials can be planned.
Measure before delivery
Measure width, depth and ceiling height at several points rather than relying on a single wall measurement. Note baseboards, vents, light switches, outlets, sprinklers, access panels and door swing. Check elevator and doorway dimensions for long panels. A modular closet can require room to tip a frame upright, so ceiling clearance matters as much as final height.
Downtown Toronto buildings often limit drilling hours and may require a reserved elevator for delivery. Confirm the floor and wall construction if known, and send photos of the empty space. If the existing closet must be removed, identify that as a separate task in the request.
Assembly and secure installation
Components are checked and laid out before assembly. Uprights and frames need to be square and level so drawers slide cleanly and doors align. Hanging rails and shelves must be supported according to the manufacturer's instructions and expected loads. Tall units commonly need anti-tip or structural anchoring; the method depends on wall type, suitable fixings and condominium rules.
Some systems require precise cutting of fillers or trim. Send the design and photos before any work is confirmed, especially if the room has sloped ceilings, bulkheads or uneven corners. Electrical changes, structural alterations or work inside walls should be routed to the appropriate licensed trade or specialist.
Prepare the room
Empty the area, protect personal items and confirm that all cartons, hardware and instructions are present. Identify missing or damaged pieces before installation starts. Provide parking, concierge and elevator instructions along with permitted work hours. If packaging must be removed, include the building's disposal rules and the volume in the booking notes.

Use the online calendar for a preferred date and describe the system brand, model, number of units, wall conditions and room dimensions. Attach or send the plan and photos by text for scope review.
